Senior Audit Associate Position

Technical & Professional Responsibilities:
- Effectively directs the day to day activities of the audit engagement
- Supervises staff associates and interns on the engagement
- Manages deadlines and deliverables
- Understands and employs FML audit methodology
- Works collaboratively with members of the team to meet client expectations
- Develops and maintains positive relationship with client personnel
- Develops professional and technical capabilities of the staff under their direction through formal and informal mechanisms including feedback, review of work papers, conducting engagement reviews, and serving as mentor
- Communicates with managers, partners and others in a clear, concise and timely manner to ensure engagement objectives are met
Requirements:
- Minimum of BA/BS in Accounting or business related discipline, Masters degree preferred
- 2+ years public accounting experience
- CPA certification preferred, will consider CPA eligible candidates
- Demonstrated knowledge of audit practices and procedures
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- In-State and local travel required. An opportunity exists for some out of state travel.
