Matt began his career at a national firm, performing public and private financial statement audits, which included Sarbanes-Oxley procedures. He had six years of public accounting experience and specialized in audits for clients primarily in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Since then, he has supervised and managed financial statement audits in numerous fields at FML for 11 years, including employee benefit plan audits. He has also performed consulting for purchase and equity accounting projects. Matt has been the lead director/manager on several DECD Job Creation and Incentive Agreed-upon procedure engagements and DECD Job/Project Cost Agreed-upon procedure engagements, including for Blackboard Inc. and Cirtec Medical Corporation. Matt has also provided accounting and auditing services to large publically-traded and privately held companies such as Allied Printing, Barnes Group, The Eastern Company, Aventri, Neopost, Investview, Debt Resolve, iGambit, KIND, Colt, USSI and Cara Therapeutics while at FML.
