Alex Morgan joined FML in December 2008 and brought with him over 9 years of Big 4 public accounting experience. He began his career in Assurance services and later transferred to Tax consulting and compliance.   Alex came to FML from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Tax Manager and Tax Senior Associate in Hartford, Connecticut since 2000.  Prior to that, he worked within the Assurance services practice of Ernst & Young.

Alex has an extensive background in Accounting for Income Taxes under ASC 740, including FIN 48 [ASC 740-10] and SOX 404. His experiences include providing outsourcing and secondary tax provision services to publicly traded and privately held corporations as well as other tax consulting services related to the Domestic Productions Activity Deduction, research and development credits, earnings and profits, IRS examination assistance, and organizational restructuring. 

Alex also manages a broad array of compliance projects, including federal and state income tax returns for corporate and pass-through entities. His diverse industry experience ranges from small, start-up businesses to large, multinational companies.

Alex received a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of both the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
