Angel has more than eight years of public accounting experience, including over six years with a national firm. Angel has experiences in advising clients in a variety of industries including real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, and services. Before starting her tax career, Angel has spent two years in audit in understanding and analyzing financial controls, revenue recognition policies, and company reserves and accruals.
While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Angel specialized in providing tax compliance and tax planning services to businesses and individual business owners with multistate and international operations. Angel has experience with a variety of business structures that include corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and S corporations.
At FML, Angel manages many complex compliance and consulting issues including consolidated federal and combined multistate filings, quarterly estimates and extensions, federal and state restructuring strategies, and the preparation and review of FAS 109 tax provisions. Angel takes a proactive approach to tax planning in addition to being responsive to the day-to-day needs of the clients.
Angel received both of her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Science in Accounting, Concentration in Tax from the University of Connecticut. Angel is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and is a member of the AICPA.
