Brian Kelleher has fifteen years of accounting experience and brings a unique perspective to his engagements having served in a national public accounting firm and at a Fortune 500 company prior to joining FML in January 2003. Brian has been with FML since the firm’s inception and is responsible for managing public and private financial statement audits, financial statement reviews and compilations, employee benefit plan audits, Sarbanes-Oxley consulting projects, NFIP contents claim cost verification examinations, and other business advisory services. 

Brian’s strengths include the ability to analyze financial controls, revenue recognition policies, and company reserves and accruals. He also excels at financial process reviews, SEC accounting and reporting, and inventory accounting. Brian has significant experience providing services to private equity and venture capital backed companies, and his industry experience includes manufacturing, service, technology, medical device and not-for-profit.

Brian is the Secretary and serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and has served as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and on the Advisory Council of the CTCPA. Brian also serves as the Treasurer and the Chair of the Finance Committee of The Children’s Museum in West Hartford, Connecticut, and serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum of Connecticut, a not-for-profit public service organization that was founded to promote and strengthen the process of starting and growing companies by providing services that educate, entertain, and inform entrepreneurs and supporters of entrepreneurship.

Brian graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
