Viktoriia Mills began her career in public accounting at another firm and joined Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP (FML) in 2015. With FML, Viktoriia gained experience in wide range of industries, including manufacturing, software development, bio-technology and not-for-profit organizations. Viktoriia ensures quality in delivering client services by directing daily progress of fieldwork and testing, reporting directly to Senior Managers and Partners on engagement status and managing performance of staff. Viktoriia works on financial statement audits both under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, she works on employee benefit plan audits of private and public companies and consulting engagements such as testing of internal controls in publicly traded companies in order to ensure compliance under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). Viktoriia has worked on SOX engagements with Connecticut Water Service, Inc. and Delcath Systems, Inc., testing internal controls as well as rewriting company process narratives by identifying and documenting control points along with distinguishing between key and non-key controls. Notably, Viktoriia is fluent speaker in English, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish.
