Brian has been with FML since the firm's inception in 2002 and is responsible for managing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, Federal (Uniform Guidance) and State Single Audits, employee benefit plan (ERISA) audits (including for SEC 11-K filings), contents claim cost verification examinations for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), bank field examinations, and other business advisory services. Prior to joining FML, he served at a "Big Four" public accounting firm and at a Fortune 500 Corporation. Brian's strengths include financial reporting, risk assessment, strategic planning, the ability to analyze financial controls, revenue recognition policies, inventory accounting, and company reserves and accruals. Brian has significant experience providing services to publicly traded companies, private equity and venture capital backed companies, small businesses, middle market companies, and non-profit organizations. His industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, professional service firms, technology, medical device, and not-for-profit. Brian currently heads the firm's Accounting Services Practice.
