It was an honor to be named to the 2021 class of the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty along with so many impressive and accomplished professionals.

As a leader in the cryptocurrency community in Connecticut, I’ve published an e-book on the subject and shared my insights on cryptocurrency and blockchain through educational seminars for accountants and through speaking to students at the University of Hartford and the Holburton School at the District in New Haven.

I graduated from Quinnipiac and earned my master’s in accounting and taxation at the University of Hartford. I’ve now been at FML for 11 years.

I founded and head the firm’s cryptocurrency accounting practice, which handles digital currency tax matters for businesses and individuals, and I advise companies in the cryptocurrency space.

In addition, I work with middle-market companies in industries such as engineering, environmental, technology and manufacturing on mergers and acquisitions and tax issues.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my German shepherd Sansa on trails in the Rockfall section of Middlefield. I mine cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin, Pirate Chain and Dogecoin and have written an e-book about cryptocurrency. I also play guitar and enjoy listening to music such as Taking Back Sunday and The Story So Far.

Here’s some of the info about me that ran in the profile.

Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty
  • Youngest partner at FML CPAs, a firm with a team of 85 people across five offices in Connecticut.
  • Founded FML’s cryptocurrency accounting practice.
  • Helps Connecticut companies acquire businesses all over the country.
  • Mentors entrepreneurs through local universities.
Biggest professional/work accomplishment so far

Founding FML’s cryptocurrency practice in 2018 is my biggest professional achievement so far. The firm put its trust in me to lead us into a growing industry that at the time was much less accepted by traditional businesses than it is today.

Fun Fact

I am a World of Warcraft Keystone Master with a 2150 M+ Score and 1550 IO.
